2019-2022: Product Manager
Defined global digital strategy and roadmap for all eComm sites and digital products. Built consensus to prioritize and drive product execution. Defined digital processes across consumer touchpoints, continuously analyzing how to improve these processes to mirror best practices. Defined business requirements and serve as conduit to all Columbia Sportswear brands. Understood user needs to identify and define product requirements. Facilitated the development and execution of respective UI and UX areas by working closely alongside subject matter experts and internal and external stakeholders.
2018-2019: UX Researcher and Designer
Led UX research for the redesign and replatform of all four Columbia brands’ retail and corporate sites (Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, SOREL, and prAna) to be mobile-first. Conducted qualitative and quantitative user research including, but not limited to: qualitative interviews with Columbia customers; card sorting; tree-jack testing; first-click testing; quantitative data analysis with Adobe and Google Analytics. Provided UI and UX research recommendations to inform and ensured UX wireframes align with what is best for each brand's user. Designed and delivered low-fidelity and mid-fidelity wireframes for all brands to development teams. Communicated with and presented to high-level stakeholders: C-level officers, POs, and many others. In addition to the UX-focused research, performed industry-wide research and worked directly with Director of Digital Initiatives to determine the next steps in Columbia Sportswear’s omni-channel and digital strategy, contributing to 30% year-over-year sales growth.
2017: eCommerce Omni-Channel Intern
Researched and analyzed mobile marketing strategies, and the competitive mobile-commerce landscape across all Columbia Sportswear brands. Identified and evaluated exemplary mobile sites and apps to define a mobile strategy with suggestions for improvements to Columbia Sportswear’s sites. Made recommendations to engage consumers in an omni-channel experience, ultimately resulting in 19% year-over-year sales growth. Developed the vision, strategy, and prototype of an app for Columbia to increase brand awareness, affinity, and loyalty; presented findings, strategies, and prototype to Columbia Sportswear’s eCommerce Department.
